Although there is a twelve-hour time difference between Potsdam, New York and Taipei, Taiwan, I enjoy having phone conversations with my friend at night. Each phone call reconnects me with the place where I grew up. The decades long friendship is pure and precious that makes me happy. The connected circles symbolize the ongoing conversation.
